FINALLY: Tata Docomo is hinting that they are merging with Airtel. They are still not informing the customers explicitly.
I got this SMS from TA-DOCOMO:
We are upgrading our network. If unable to use your no. switch off/on your handset or select auto mode in network setting or select AIRTEL in manual mode.

(Will upload screenshot later).

Why don't they admit it openly!!!!

To maintaining the secrecy of agreement :lol::wall:

My Docomo number stopped working. It's in my spare phone, last checked a week ago, worked fine. How to reactivate it?

I did this via paytm, but that 35 wala plan will also work.

I don't know why Tata Docomo is taking such a long time to merge with Airtel. When Airtel acquired the Telenor network, all of the Telenor subscribers got ported to Airtel immediately. Why is this not happening with Docomo?

All Telenor spectrum was unified(4G), but TATA has lot of un-unified spectrum(2G GSM&CDMA), Airtel shall make payment for Unified Spectrum and take approvals from DOT.
