I bought a J7 (SM-J700F) in riyadh..

but I didn't notice in the box that it is for Middle East and Africa SIM card only.
It does not work in Asia (India).

It's not an issue you should have switched it on first time with that specific country Sim. Then you should have used Indian Sim....

No issues customer care can unlock for you. Bring that to your nearest service centre....

Even Indian Samsung phones should be switched on first with Indian Sim or it gets locked....

You can easily flash it using Odin. I did the same to Galaxy S7 edge bought from UAE. After flashing Indian ROM, Jio VOLTE and Samsung pay is working. Just make sure that model number of middle east and indian variant is same
