Decided to skip even before S10 launch, not planning to replace S9+ till it gives any kind of trouble. You know how much hassle i had went through and got a brand new replacement because initial S9+ camera burnt. Current one is pretty good so going to use it quite sometime.

Nah, Honor View 20 is the first phone to release such display bro. It's being sold on Amazon since a month for 37999.

But question arises now is then why Samsung says it first of a kind display? Because of In-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor?

In-display fingerprint also exists from ages. Nothing new in that Samsung desperately wants to claim something as first of it's kind, which is why they are doing all these gimmicks.

BTW, look at the official wallpapers they have released for these devices, they are hiding the so called punch hole on every single one of them, using a black shade at the right top corner. Why create something ugly and hide it

Believe me i too wondered the same when i noticed it during launch event (Galaxy Unpacked) stream.

They are making the wallpapers punch hole side darker so people won't think the display looks odd.

Btw, i believe newer Samsung mid ranger devices would work good enough to use as daily driver. So not worth spending thrice money on high end Samsung phones which gives almost same features. Now its competition market, especially with Xiaomi, Honor etc. So understanding these facts they won't be making something so cheap and unusable which not worth even 10k and people also won't pay 15k when they can get a much better Redmi phone at same cost.

Only advantage in the high end phones is the Camera, compared to mid-rangers. But, can anyone spend thrice or even four times the money, just for that!! Not very sure!!

Once upon a time I used to hate iPhones due to their notch design but when I saw the new Galaxy S10 devices, it changed my opinion. Now I find iPhone notch far better than the ugly punch-hole camera on the right-side of screen.

I was a dedicated loyal customer of Samsung mobile phones and I'm using Samsung Galaxy S phones since the first S phone release. But I'm afraid the new S10 devices will change it.

IMO Samsung should have used the same waterdrop notch in S10 devices but I know they didn't do this because they have made so many jokes on Apple iPhone notch design and now they can't use any kind of notch in their high-end phones.
