There has been a lot of discussion around the chip set to be used in the upcoming S25 series. It seems like Snapdragon won the battle. It’ll only be the Qualcomm’s SOC in all the models of the S25 series globally, according to the latest reports.

S25 Ultra would get satellite connectivity. For now, it sounds like it is for China, we need to wait and see if it will be expanded to other regions too at the release.

More than satellite connectivity, Indian units need mmwave support. It's high time Reliance Jio should deploy mmwave spectrum. 2 years and still no deployment.

Samsung is hosting its next Unpacked event on January 22. The teaser showcases four devices next to each other, practically confirming we will see four Galaxy S25 smartphones in 15 days.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to measure 159 x 76 x 6.4 mm, making it roughly the same height and width as the Galaxy S24+ but significantly thinner, as the S24+ measures 7.7 mm in thickness. This slim profile could appeal to users seeking a sleeker design while maintaining the screen size and dimensions similar to the S24+.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is reportedly 8.3 mm thick at the camera bump, just 0.1 mm thicker than the thinnest point of the Galaxy S25 Ultra (excluding its camera bumps). It is also expected to feature a 6.7” to 6.8” display, aligning closely with the screen size of the S25+, making it a compelling option for those seeking a thinner alternative without sacrificing display size.
