Postpaid plan 888 per month + 18% GST but only for 3,6 or 12 months. Here 18% GST so extra money charged monthly is 159.84 or roundup 160. All have 800+ live tv channels along with 30Mbps speed, and ONLY with 12 month plan users get extra 30 days free benefits of this plan.

Jio offers a 7-day ₹199 recharge for 100 Mbps. This flexibility is great since we don’t always need to recharge, but I think it’s only available for prepaid users.
I didn't know this Rs. 199 plan works without any active plan. If it is so then it's really a great plan from Jio. ✨

I thought it can only boost existing plan's data limit as Jio has labeled it as "data sachet".

Yes, it can be used as a standalone plan. I’ve used it multiple times.

It has its own validity. Addon plans don't have validity. I have also used this plan. Earlier it has only 10mbps upload speed (between period yr2021 to yr2022) but then jio was also started giving 100mbps upload speed in this plan.

JioFiber had a wire cut in our area today. It was not even 7 a.m. and they fixed it. Service was down (red light blinking) for only two and a half hours which was earlier than the mentioned ETA in the SMS alert. The Jio guys worked in the early morning to fix it. 😯 Commendable job. 👏

Last time it was down in March for a similar reason, the ETA was 2 hours back then, and it came back online on time. (Link to the March outage post)

Keep Airtel Fiber in the place of JioFiber and imagine how much time they would have taken and how many revised timeline alerts they would have sent. ☠️ (CC @Rushil & @AftabIN bros - as they use both Jio & Airtel Fiber)

For me, If there is any fiber cut or an issue related to local infrastructure, the Airtel team is very fast and responds within an hour. Once, the junction box got destroyed during the rainy season, and they came within an hour and repaired it within a few hours. However, the main issue comes from the backend or headend team, where their OLT itself does not have links, causing long downtimes for everyone. All of this was explained to me by their local OLT engineers.
