Well, they made false promises. Jio brand definitely took a hit because of this. People can't blindly believe anything Mukesh Ambani says from now on. Who knows all his promises could be false including the one keeping Jio the lowest cost network!

I don't think the people who are the real target of this phone(feature phone users who never used smartphone) have booked this as those people buy phone in store and influenced by store guy, they buy product when they see it in their hand, they don't buy based on the image of the phone and specs so brand hit will not affect much
