Does iptv lead to buffering of videos? Similar to jiotv or YouTube? Or dedicated speed is provided?

It will buffer if you don't have enough speed. A 4mbps speed provides buffer free videos. Since Jio is providing 100 mbps speed, you should be good. I guess, if you are consuming completed bandwidth for torrents, that may affect. However, by default they would setup QoS, for buffer free video is my guess

IPtv depend on internet speed you are getting from broadband like Airtel IPtv as they offer Broadband Plan with IPtv. IPtv offer many option in Entertainment. If your speed is low, picture will buffer more & give low quality picture when you are watching any Channel.

Jio GigaFiber is going to provide Giga Router and a 4K set top box and that means that would be the best in the industry available today.

Does anyone know at least the major cities among the 1100 cities which Reliance Chairman announced while launching their Jio Giga Fiber Broadband service for which registrations would start on 15th Aug.

Major cities will be almost same where Airtel is providing broadband now,as Airtel is concentrating only big cities,Jio may follow 90 percent same cities where there is population there is business

May be they will spread to villages also very soon after launching. Long back ago (6 months, at least) they laid underground OFC cable in my village (pure village, near to seashore, and not connecting between any towns or cities). I think they don't need so much time to connect (if 1100 cities only).

Jio have completed their fiber optic wires in under ground level all over india. Jio spend money in infrastructure so that they can launch many thing- Mobile, Broadband, Gigatv(4K) , Router and many more to come at a very affordable price.
