I was browsing thru you tube, and i found a video where a guy was showing a demo of Jio Giga TV STB.

The STB is small and compact, but is different as compared to the pics posted in first page.

Its a android STB and has various Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, etc.

The Jio app is totally different from the Jio Android TV App available in play store. The app in Jio Giga TV STB has got channel No's and different UI.

Wonder what app that is ???

That is a different STB which is fake

The one I am talking about is different.
This stb has Ethernet port, HDMI port etc. Its connected via jio fiber router

Its real as its android stb and the user logins to his jio account

Yes it is not fake video or STB these are the STB used while trial and usually Mumbaikers get in hand.

Update:

I got confirmation from Jio about its Giga TV STB.

It will not consume the data but you should have an active JioFiber plan to use the Jio Home TV service.

It's buffering alot....

This video is more than a year old. And its a testing video where speed is not even 100Mbps.

I don't think this issue will be there once it's official launched

Update:

In case your JioFiber data limit is exhausted, services to your Jio Home TV will not get impacted. However, you will experience Internet browsing at reduced speed.
