My phone supports n258 band as well. US model of iPhone 13 Pro Max. But waiting for Standalone toggle to enable first and then wait for invite

Anyone using jio 5g in chennai? Can u tell how was the speed ? And show some images regarding that🙏🙏

Does this plan have carry forward option?
No carry forward option and no UL data (or reduced speed after 25GB). But the overages charged is about Rs20 per GB. For less than 200Rs, this is still more than enough, imho. Come on, if this plan has carry forward option, then who will go for Rs399 or other plans???

N258 will be used for Fixed wireless access. Not for mobile broadband.
Jio is saying n258 will be used for 5G. They are not mentioning anything about fixed wireless access.

I doubt so. I am yet to see 5Gbps speeds on Jio 5G on mmWave.
Why are you doubting what is there on Jio’s website? LMAO.

It’s might not have been deployed yet or it might have been deployed at extremely limited places because no phone with n258 band is selling in India as of today. Only iPhone 13 and 14 series US models have support and maybe few US based Samsungs. Hardly anyone with iPhone has got invited to 5G Trial. I won’t know speeds unless I get invited either.

Pretty sure Jio won’t launch n258 exclusively for fixed wireless access. It might eat into their FTTH business if they price it cheap. n258 is really needed in crowded places like stadiums, train stations, festival sites. Right now their 4G is practically useless (0.1 Mbps - 2 Mbps) if you are in a crowded area or in a big traffic jam.
