I have been on another forum. They r saying that its better to get Yamaha yht 1840. Lol. M confused. I have gone from 5000 budget to 25k.

What's the difference would i get if i buy an AV receiver? I m no tech giant so confused. Or would it be better to buy 5.1 speakers having more power output like my current one which has 6150 watt connected to my PC instead of iv 300 which has p.o 1000 W.🤔🤔

This is a very good model, but you need to spend an additional 10k compared to IV300!

Now m thinking of either going for philips 2163b or yamaha yht 1840.. because ohilips will solve my purpose as it has only soundbar and woofer so there will be less wires. And if i want 5.1 then i thinl yamaha will give immense pleasure

I'm also looking for a 5.1 home theatre setup for my 49 inch Fhd tv. I'm using Airtel HD dth and chrome cast for Netflix.

Here are the requirements.
- The HT should have tweeters on all 5 speakers or at least on front and centre speakers
- Should have hdmi arc
- should support DTS and Dolby's HD formats
- should support Dolby prologic II
- should support video pass through in hdmi.

The sound quality should be decent too. The budget is up to 30k.

I couldn't find one with all the requirements above. Either the system doesn't have tweeters or too costly. Can someone recommend a HT for me? Does Yamaha yht 1840 have tweeters?

Thanks in advance.

Yamaha yht1840 doesn't have tweeters. Except that it matches your all other requirements. If you want with the tweeters then you can try yht2910 but that will increase your budget by 10k. So you can decide on what you want.

Just a suggestion that I would suggest you 2910 coz it will give you an option to upgrade the speakers to match with your amp and subwoofer. I know it will cost but high but this will add a benefit with all your requirements.

Thanks Ankit. I don’t want to spend upwards of 30k for now because my room is not acoustically treated and doesn’t warrant a high end HT. Now focusing on a cheaper Sony IV 300. How good is that? It doesn’t have tweeters but I think I have to compromise on that.
