I didn't believed this but now think that most NGOs are for PR to get donation money. There is an injured, abandoned horse roaming in my area with one broken foot.

To get him some help I wrote to the most well known organization PETA, they did respond and called me next day itself but just to give numbers of other organisations in the city.

Some had horrible reviews and didn't even pick up the call while some said they take only small pets like cats and dogs and one recommended getting help from government's District Animal Husbandry office.

So I contacted them also and the guy claimed that he already got reports about it and sent doctors several times but never found the horse. Now he will send team only if someone can catch and keep that horse tied.😳🤯
