MUMBAI: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India felicitated RJ Mantra, host of Mumbai Local (Mon-Sat 5-9pm) on 93.5 Red FM, with the ‘Hero to Animals’ award for his extensive efforts to rescue a parrot. RJ Mantra received a framed certificate and a letter of appreciation from PETA India honoring him for the compassion shown towards an animal and rescuing an animal in need.
