Eight bogies of 12841 UP Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express derailed after colliding with a goods train near Bahanaga Station. The accident happened around 7.20pm near Bahanaga Bazar station when the train was on the way to Chennai Central station from the Shalimar station near Kolkata.

Apparently 3 trains i.e 2 express and 1 Goods train collided.Horrible accident.Broadly Railways has avoided big accidents in last 10-15 years ,this accident needs to be investigated.

Question is about visibility of Duronto Express. I get it first two trains might collide. How come the third one didn't see the derailed coaches and crashed?
