Hello everyone,

As many of you know, earlier I had shared my bad experience with Acer TV:

After that nightmare, I finally purchased an LG 55-inch 55UAR82006LA directly from LG:
And honestly, I am truly very, very happy with this TV. 🙌

Buying Experience
  • I had wasted a lot of time and money with Acer. This time I requested a call back on LG Chat Support, and their team called me.
  • They offered me a very good deal with employee/commission codes, which reduced the price further.
  • I paid directly on the LG official website, so there was no trust issue.
  • The TV was delivered in just 4 days directly from the warehouse.
  • Within 20–40 mins of delivery, a local LG engineer called me for installation.
  • Since I wasn’t at home that day, I asked him to come the next day. He arrived on time and completed the installation.
Big thumbs-up 👍 to LG for such a smooth process.

Installation & Setup
  • LG provides free wall-mount installation.
  • They give you the choice: normal stand or wall mount.
  • I opted for the wall mount, and to my surprise, they provided a high-quality movable wall mount stand for free, which is otherwise quite costly.
Picture Quality
I have been using this TV for over a 20 days now, and I can say one word: Amazing!
  • UHD picture quality is crystal clear with natural colors.
  • My previous Acer TV had HDR and Dolby Vision, but honestly, this LG beats it easily in real-life performance.
  • Colors are vibrant, sharpness is excellent, and streaming apps like Netflix and Prime Video run buttery smooth.
Audio
  • The sound is good but not excellent.
  • Normal viewing is fine, and the AI Sound Pro mode makes a big difference in dialogues and clarity.
  • Still, I am planning to buy an LG soundbar in the upcoming Flipkart sale to make the audio experience even better.
Cons
  1. Remote – The biggest drawback.
    • They provide an old-style IR remote, which feels outdated and slow.
    • On top of that, I have a BLDC remote fan in my hall, and whenever I use the LG remote, it interferes with my fan (speed changes, on/off, etc. 😅).
    • LG does have a Bluetooth AI remote (with mic function), but unfortunately, it’s not available in my location right now.
  2. Sound – Decent, not too powerful. AI mode helps, but without a soundbar, the punch is missing.
  3. webOS UI – It has all major apps, but the UI feels a bit old compared to Android TV. Also, I miss JioTV+. Currently, I am managing with a Jio set-top box, so it’s not a dealbreaker.
Price & Offers
  • I purchased this during the Ganesh Chaturthi special discount.
  • Final price came down to under ₹35,000 with bank offers + no-cost EMI.
  • I even got an extra ₹1,000 discount for choosing EMI, so I went for a 3-month plan.
Final Verdict
After wasting time and money on Acer, I can finally say I’m super satisfied with LG.
✅ Picture quality is excellent
✅ Buying experience was smooth and transparent
✅ Delivery was super quick (just 4 days)
✅ Installation was professional and free
✅ Price was unbeatable with LG direct offers

Only downside is the remote and average sound, but I’ll fix that with a soundbar soon.

👉 If you are planning to buy an LG TV, don’t rush to Flipkart or Amazon. First, try chatting with LG support directly on their website on national holidays example, 15 August, 2nd October , They give the best discounts, no-cost EMI, and direct delivery from their warehouse.

I am very happy with this purchase and can confidently recommend the LG TV to anyone looking for a reliable 4K smart TV.

Yes bro, but it’s a 2025 model TV, so some of the buttons don’t work with the old 2024 remote. The local agent told me this and asked for more than ₹2800 for the 2024 remote, so I didn’t purchase it. Also, the new LG remote for this model is not available online. I’m waiting for this remote

Last year, I was बेहद happy with my LG TV and even shared a very positive experience. The picture quality, performance, and overall experience were शानदार.

But now, things have completely changed.

Recently, I noticed a black spot/shadow on the screen, especially visible in bright scenes. I raised a complaint, and when the engineer visited, he initially said, “Sab sahi hai, koi issue nahi hai.” Then he added that it’s a manufacturing problem.

That’s what frustrated me the most — if it is a manufacturing defect, then why not fix it properly? How can the answer be “hum kuch nahi kar sakte”?

He even mentioned that many users realize such issues only after the warranty expires. I clearly told him — if this is a manufacturing issue, it should be reported and fixed properly so that other customers don’t face the same problem in the future. But instead of escalating, he was not ready to take it further.

Instead of helping, it felt like I was being pushed to accept the issue.

After a lot of discussion (and only after I mentioned escalating the matter publicly), he agreed to open the panel. Dust was found inside, and he cleaned it — but instead of fixing the issue, it became worse. The small black spot has now turned into a visible black line, and the panel seems damaged.

After all this, he suggested replacing just the panel.

But I clearly said — if the panel has already been opened and now damaged, what guarantee is there that no new issue will come tomorrow? I requested a full TV replacement, but that was not considered.

Honestly, this whole experience has been confusing, frustrating, and a complete waste of time and money.

As a customer, it really feels like I’m stuck. When everything works, the product feels premium — but when a real issue comes up, the support experience does not match the brand’s reputation at all.

I have already escalated this on X and via email, and I’m still waiting for a proper resolution. If anyone can guide me to fix this issue or what I ca do suggest me.

I trusted LG for quality and service, but this experience has been very disappointing. I hope they take this seriously and provide a fair solution.

Bro sorry to say but seems like some appliance cursed is roaming your house 😅. My acer tv (same model as yours) purchased in October 2024 is working amazing till now, meanwhile you had issue with that then with the LG replacement got some other issue 😅. Anyways, have you gotten electromagnetic induction/radiation field test at your place? I wonder if that could be the reason?

Actually bro I have just shifted to new flat and I have noticed the black spot earlier but that I was that was just outside dust, as I use TV in dark mode so I have not noticed more
