Only 40 million
I am one of them having 1jio fibre/1 Airfibre/8 sim in our 4 family members.
So on avg total maximum 2Cr home are connected out of 35cr homes
Vi needs to better their network by adding 5G sites in record time. Jio 5G speeds are abysmally low. BSNL too needs to add sites to 2L within one year. If this continues, then Jio 5G speeds will be lower than 100Mbps.
Something fishy going on with BSNL wireline additions in Feb, it added 1.7 million new subscribers compared to 93 thousand by Jio and little over 1 lakh by Airtel. They had been losing subscribers over the past few months, don't know whether this spike is an error in reporting or something else.

I can explain. In TN, the state government is improving the digital infrastructure of govt education institutions starting from the primary schools. And they are all asked to get connection from bsnl. Some schools which already have fiber connections from other operators are also asked to switch to bsnl fiber. I can 100% confirm this as I am closely working with education department.
So, I would assume at least 2lakh connections will be from TN. If couple of other states follows this policy then that number is achievable.
