Jio should launch JioTV App for all Android TV's, FireTV Stick, other Android based boxes, & other os based TV's it will be use ful for those who don't like to get dth connection and want to watch live tv through app without subscribing all otts. Specially Disney & Star Channels same dth feed should be available in the app
Well...JioTV can launch on Smart TV platforms too....but they may not be able to withstand the competition from YouTube Tv and Prime TV

Jio cannot do that as they had deliberately disabled for casting as these are only for mobile devices and all the broadcasters had made available their paid channels so the same is not available for Jio STB too and if they do so it will kill DTH and cable operators too and the business model.

If they do so their own JIO STB will lose customer and Jio Fiber wont be successful anymore. So that not going to happen anytime soon, if happen later, they gonna charge hefty amount for that.
They should provide Disney & Star Channels DTH feed in Jio STB

It is a long way for DTH to exit. OTT will coexist with DTH but will not replace it immediately. When DTH came, terrestrial tv did not exit in an year or two. It took 2 decades for it to disappear. Similarly DTH will also face its natural death, but slowly, may be in a decade.
