LCD Monitor Use as a TV

Can i used a LCD monitor as a TV. It can directly connect from Set top Box?? or Not??

How can i connect ????

My LCD monitor is HCL 18.5 inch Model: PW185H, and STB is Solid 9048. Its HDMI port.

So your STB has HDMI and your Monitor has VGA right?

bro, I think ur tv not support hdmi & rca port, so my suggestion is purchase TV tuner:k & vga to hdmi some cable not support some tv& better to purchase in offline store

But bro for TV tuner he will also need a CPU and my guess is he wants to connect STB directly to the TV

Directly means vga to hdmi cable or rca cable, but I have purchase vga to hdmi cable in some online shop & it's not working for me

I want to directly connect from STB to LCD monitor without TV tuner.
