OnePlus provides great specs at good price but still many people buy that heavily priced phones same in the case of tata sky.. the level of tata sky service and quality can never be matched.. as a Tata sky user from last 11+ years saying this

Sorry but one who had personally used Tata sky can only tell the difference and those who are saying that we cannot watch channel on the go there is also Tata sky live TV which was launched way back than jio and has much better quality than jio.

There are right issue of web streaming that's why it is not available also any times in movies channels in jio tv movies are not available because of same issue

●TS is best in its class, the service & customer support is fantastic.
●Jio tv is also good but in its class.

But we can not compare a satellite tv (dth) with OTT (jio tv). They both made to serve there purpose on different devices.

In dth 1st you don't need net connection, you can watch hd content for hours & that to on big screen with your family (10 people can watch it at the same time).
TS don't run just 1 or 2 interactive service it has several of them & that too from the 1st day of its launch.

Ott can never be an alternative for dth.

I think you don't use TS so you have no idea. These interactive services are free to all TS users if he is watching the match on TS. There is a reason why TS is called premium DTH, it's not because of the pack price is higher but because of these extra things which TS provides from time to time like Oscar flims during Oscar, Special feed for Grand slam, special 4K broadcast, hollywood movie premier etc

Regarding accessibility, are you saying Jio is giving enough 4G speed everywhere so that those users can stream on mobile ? But in TV broadcast you can get the same quality everywhere and it does not matter whether you are within mobile coverage or not.

And regarding affordability, are you saying mobile streaming is cheaper than watching on TV ? Please don't say so people will laugh

Totally agree with you in bold lines.
My experience is that whenever jio provides free addon they reduce the speed.
On this addon still it is working fine.
But when they provided free addon on new year(in association with samsung to samsung user)they reduced my speed such I was even able to exhaust hardly 50% of my daily limit.And the day its validity(addon) exhausted the net speed started working fine.This is the truth(atleast in my area)

And regarding tata sky I can't say anything because I never used it so

Jio tv is just playing market gimmick to create hype.
Its like a old wine in new bottle
