So humans will make friendship with fish and rat after baiting them @shawl_who bro?

well may be or may be not.

Baiting only means to attract/lure...
It doesnt specify, the fisherman's intentions after the fish has been attracted to the food. Though, mostly its for the kill... but its no 100 % gaurantee.

But may be the fisherman only wants to feed the fish, and hence baiting it.....

yeah.. I m saying the same thing bro.
But there are many companies that dont follow that path, airtel, Idea etc... they never went free at the start of their businesses. Its reliance, who follows that strategy religiously.
When Idea Airtel were coming up there wasn't so much competition. Almost all of them were on a level playing field. Jio did brilliantly well to launch a network when the entire Telecom industry has established players.
And this thing you are referring to as bait is wrong. Bait is used in a negative context always. You cannot equate bait with enticing or luring. Bait is completely different and Jio has, as of yet, not baited any one of us. Sure it has enticed us and lured us but not baited.

You can play with words and say all you want to say @shawl_who bro. But deep down you know the purpose of a bait!! It doesn't apply to Jio (Yet).

Yes. Moreover anybody can throw /port to other network very easily, if in future jio found to be costly. So definitely it's not a trap

he he he.... yeah, I m in coherence wid u, wid d meaning of the word of bait. (deep down) :hs:

But, deep down you also know, the marketing strategy followed by reliance was a bait only, to lure customers..... otherwise as they say, nothing in this world is for FREE ! :sleepy:

It's not a bait. Yes they lured customers with great plans. We are not thinking straight if we are expecting it FREE for life. It's our fault. And let me tell you, consumers are not as innocent as you are saying. They'll ditch Jio if they have to and port to other Telco if they find better plans and no one can stop them. Every Indian should be thankful to Jio for bringing a revolution in mobile data charges in India. Sadly, as usual we Indians find faults with everyone and everything!!

he he... I feel members are feeling bad bcoz, they ve been baited by an intelligent marketing strategy by reliance, and they re now refusing to accept it :P:

They baited..... lured you to try JIO, and disconnect your tried n trusted existing operator.
Without knowing their services, quality... product.... you got pulled towards JIO's offer of free packs.... u got mesmerized by FREE data packs..

U did not bother abt ur existing operator, u did not give a second thought.... u got driven to reliance.... bcoz they baited u.... admit it.

Its like dangling one free carrot... and selling the other ones ( tastier ones though)
