Do you support the price hike by telecom operators?

Even I agree if we leave the 4G VoLTE services aside, Airtel has the best network coverage & that is why they are keeping 2G services alive for calling purposes while shutting down 3G.
Yes...VOLTE is also available on AirTel from quite some time though, atleast in major cities...Maybe AirTel VOLTE is still not widely spread like Jio which works solely on VOLTE but AirTel is catching up I guess... Mine automatically swiches to 2G from VOLTE where there is bad 4G or no 4G connectivity...

People say that BSNL should be shut down as it is a den of corruption and inefficiency. It is true that BSNL is often plagued by corruption and other high to low level malpractices but does it mean we need to shut down the state telecom company which at times played vital role in price control and a support for poor people.

Does the government always runs for profit? It is right to always run for profit overlooking all the public service and security not to mention our tax money which goes to build 3000cr statues? There are places were security personnel are only dependent on BSNL.

I am seriously sick of all this thing. BSNL has often been used as scrapegoat. Purposely undermined for private operators' affairs. Utterly worried for the current state of the country.
BSNL continuously running network in naxal hit areas, Flood/Cyclone affected places. So, Govt. shall think about it and can run national operator with tax payers money.

AirTel brought the first 4G in India in Kolkata...I think Airtel will also be the first to bring 5G in India...

But the problem is, in a poor country like India, where everything is getting pricier day by day, will common people be able to afford 5G plans ?? Time will tell...

P.S. Thanks to the Govt. our GDP is now even below than BD & Pak...Congo to us... :censored:

Guys, Guys. There is no end to the discussion on which operator is the best / provides best coverage.
1) This is largely dependent on Circles. As the circle varies, the coverage, customer support, and consistency varies. In fact, even the mobile internet speed varies.
2) This is again largely dependent on the areas you live, and frequently visit (for work / leisure / alternate home / etc.) At few places, the network is just terrible (Eg. inside houses). But that doesn't mean it is terrible in rest part of the city/state. A person who does not live / visit such areas would still claim that it is the "best" network in that state.
3) With the porting option, it is easy to switch to the network of your choice. This should be based on a short study conducted by you yourself for the areas which you would be for most of the time - this includes asking your peers who use other networks in that area.
4) Finally, from the cost perspective - I personally feel that lowest cost is better, but again this is my personal opinion only. There is no point in taking the lowest cost carrier if you dont get any signal in your house. Hence, choose wisely.

Why Jio is not announcing new plans? 2 more days left. No updates 🤷

I got this from FB a week back...Not an official source & sorry for the poor pic quality but I got this pic only & I think this can be real...

P.S. The new Upload Images feature doesn't work so we need to continue using the old method to insert pics...
