Do you support the price hike by telecom operators?

Why should we customer pay money for their penalties or AGR dues for which telcos themselves are responsible .
You aren't paying for the AGR. If this happened in the 2010-2015, these companies had deep pockets and would ultimately pay after some bitching. The current tariffs are not sustainable and borderline predatory. This tariffs results in loss for all operators (don't buy this Jio profit trick) and Vodafone-Idea might get bankrupt if steps weren't taken. This isn't some bluffing from these operators but a very critical situation that necessitated the intervention of the government.

I payed around ₹500/pm for 2GB 3G data and some calls on Vodafone back in 2015. I don't mind paying the same amount for 28 GB UL call per month. If this price hikes saves the company from going bust, I would happily pay for the hike if it saves the thousands of job and billions of government revenues. At least, this is my country and my people and we are going through some tough times.

Depends on your location. Already said that.

Current pricing is unsustainable. It's good that Jio came into the picture and started the price war. However, now it's time to be realistic for a win-win. Most people are abusing data due to this predatory pricing. Prices should increase so that the needy users are not affected by mediocre speeds.

Data abuse will only stop if daily data limit is being removed. Make people concern about data reduction. I have notice users have bizzare mentality of finishing off the data before exhaustion time. Internet is heavily congested here during 11:00 pm to 12:45 am.

Absolutely correct they are misusing data.Prices should go up for daily data packs as there will be needy users and we will get decent speed even in peak period as unnecessary load will be offline

This price rise is not about agr only. It was just a reason the telecos needed to increase prices which they wanted to do for a while. If its about agr why the hell did jio and bsnl join the bandwagon.
