Do you support the price hike by telecom operators?

Currently the per GB cost in these 1.5 GB per day bundled plans is around Rs. 3.5
The operators need to increase the per GB rate to Rs.10 and reduce the amount of data bundled in these plans without changing the actual plan denomination.
And offer the reduced data as bulk without daily FUP caps and let the subscribers do data topup with the same 10Rs/GB in case they run out of data before plan validity expiry.
This way the tariff won't be unaffordable and only the ones who use a lot of data will pay a reasonable price for it without affecting the majority who just use 200 to 300 MB per day and not exhausting the entire daily allowance.

Yes, quite a possible option. But the reports state that the Operators are looking to increase tariffs. So mostly, the plan inclusions will stay as is, and the cost will increase.

Currently, the Rs 169 plan for 28 days offering 1GB/day and unlimited calls is literally dirt-cheap (compared to what we paid a few yrs ago). If they retain the Rs 169 plan with offering reduced to, say, 500MB/day, then it will be good. Similarly, if they follow the same for an 84 day plan, by keeping Rs 399 as the pack value and probably reducing to 1GB/day then it will be good (currently they are offering 1.4GB/day as a promo)

What if I do a Jio 399 pack today in advance? I know that we get the benefits at todays tariff whenever activate it. But my current plan expire on January. So if Jio stops IUC then, Is my pack applicable for it?

Not applicable. This is the uncertainty we will have to face along with the potential benefits of getting current tarriff.

So my Prediction is almost correct

Very less chance for that or very less plans may subject to such modification. Telecom companies are looking to raise their revenue. If they retain the price and reduce benefits then effectively their revenue will not go up.
For example in a 1GB/day pack if they reduce it to 500/day, many people who consume less data will stay with the same plan.
I think most plan's cost will be increased. 149, 199, 399 etc will be increased by 25 - 150rs.
