Directly or indirectly streaming service will be badly affected .If streaming service affects then we have to go back to old school , that is TV viewing Era.
That will not be the case. The Indian telecom market is maturing the same way as global markets. Across the world, wireless data is way more expensive than wired broadband. In India people use wireless data to substitute home broadband. Now with wireless data becoming expensive, we will see more widespread uptake of wired home broadband which can be offered at a fraction of the cost as wireless data. The issue of absence of reliable wired broadband in all localities especially rural locations at a reasonable tariff, coupled with the cheap wireless data has caused this congestion of the wireless data networks which this tariff hike will resolve.

Even the data tariff was too higher and no concept of truly UL calls before JIO, people had the right to pay minimum or not to pay. Incoming calls are free then and Validity extension was easier. But now we have to forcefully pay an amount (which is going to be higher) to stay active on a network. Bad days for feature phone/2G users who makes fewer use of mobile phones.
For smartphone/ internet users anything lower than the [email protected] era is not a bad deal. Currently due to Jio, the internet usage is higher than the capacity. Many people are using it for time killing and just for the sake of finishing freebies. This price hike can bring some optimization in data traffic as well as financial crisis of companies (Unless Ambani ji do any mocks) and there by network become stable.

Here in Guwahati there are no good Broadband Provider. The Providers which are present here, are charging ridiculous amount and looting people.
Just look at some of these rates:

This sh#t even the most expensive ones are unreliable and unstable. It's so bad. At some offices works completes using mobile hotspots and JioFi.

I am planning to recharge annual Jio pack ...what you guys say
This is exactly why the operators have given one month advance notice of tariff hikes, so that users do long term recharges and it ensures that the subscriber will stick with their services and not port out in that duration. Also with everyone doing the advance recharges it helps the operators raising money in bulk which will come in handy considering the upcoming spectrum auction expenditure in just a couple of months.
