Yes jiotv+ also give same feed like DTH then it worthy no need another IPTV, sony network channels is pathetic
Star, Zee & Sun channels are playing from their apps is also bad, these channel change also very very bad, whereas Colors and Etv channels are playing in native mode (Jiotv+ itself) is very good quality. So, we can overcome these issues in iptv. We can watch STAR 4K channel (satellite feed) instead of hotstar's bad cricket streaming in our 4k TVs.

Yes that only I'm talking about if jiotv+ native mode tv channel then no need it's IPTV service separately.

Guys, a gentle reminder: this thread is for Airtel IPTV discussions. Do not drive the discussion off-topic with JioTV+ discussions, otherwise we have to thread ban members whoever continue to discuss off-topics and clean up the thread.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

So basically their cable internet was outdated technology not the iptv.
Part of the issue but not the only problem.... Recently in last 3 or 4 years Airtel upgraded its broadband cable network to support/enable more speed and various other features so as to provide new age services with best possible service experience

If Airtel brings IPTV services without NCF, without introduction of new hardware and utilizing the existing xtream boxes, then it's a good deal.

But they should allocate extra 5Mbps speed for IPTV service, so speed won't get counted. Basically providing extra 5Mbps speed for plans with iptv service.

Hack:

If IPTV starts with less than Rs.350 per month plan, or without any minimum opting price, then I do unbundle black plan, disconnect my dth and will try to opt for less than 10 channels (OR opt for selected broadcaster plan) and will reduce my monthly bill to Rs. 150/- without NCF.

Price breakdown:
At present 699 plan = (499 + 200) + 18% gst = Rs. 824 per month

After IPTV service:
499 + 18% GST = 589 , + 150 of iptv = Rs. 739 only..

Note: This IPTV can be launched by any third party once industry matured enough with good competition and quality service..
