Star, Zee & Sun channels are playing from their apps is also bad, these channel change also very very bad, whereas Colors and Etv channels are playing in native mode (Jiotv+ itself) is very good quality. So, we can overcome these issues in iptv. We can watch STAR 4K channel (satellite feed) instead of hotstar's bad cricket streaming in our 4k TVs.Yes jiotv+ also give same feed like DTH then it worthy no need another IPTV, sony network channels is pathetic
Yes that only I'm talking about if jiotv+ native mode tv channel then no need it's IPTV service separately.Star, Zee & Sun channels are playing from their apps is also bad, these channel change also very very bad, whereas Colors and Etv channels are playing in native mode (Jiotv+ itself) is very good quality. Part of the issue but not the only problem.... Recently in last 3 or 4 years Airtel upgraded its broadband cable network to support/enable more speed and various other features so as to provide new age services with best possible service experienceSo basically their cable internet was outdated technology not the iptv.
Bandwidth and network congestion plays a major role in IPTV. Just compare yourself 5G connectivity during the launch time with limited users and current condition with all users. Jio 5G was really good and have given high speed when it was available to limited users now it's terribly bad. In some areas it is working like a 4G.the outdated technology is cable/DTH and whatnot. Unintentionally we were futuristic 10 yrs ago, but IPTV didnt take off because of how it was implemented, over slower copper DSL and slower mediums. Nowadays, local cable operators are giving cable connections using FTTH. Fiber broadband is expanding rapidly. 5G FWA is also another medium of fast internet access. IPTV should have launched 4yrs ago but its never late. It HAS to replace DTH and traditional linear TV. All over the world, triple play is the norm, you get landline+broadband+TV over a single line and single bill. it benefits the customers a lot and also the deployment cost is less for the operators. so many smaller operators are providing triple play services already in India.
They can offer similar benefits In fiber+iptv also like fiber+DTH black plan as competetion increased in live tv with Jio, BSNL, Excitel and other triple play ISPs.Also if the prices are similar to DTH it won't become a game changer at all.
