Do you remember 2019 CWC Final? Ben Stokes was in the ground for 70+ overs, he was not out and he came to bat in super over as well. They took chances with players who failed badly today like Pooran and Maxwell, why not send Mayank? He is the reason that match got to the point where it was.

He had his eyes really set in for this, no where Pooran or Maxwell fit in this. Clearly showing a flaw in Rahul's captaincy.

Another way to look at it is Ashwin getting injured just after 1 over in which he had taken 2 wickets.
Otherwise this match wouldn't have given reached till the super-over point and no1 would have cared about the 1 short run.

In that case Maxwell would have been in the game and Punjab would have won it quite easily. As you know how Ashwin always gets bashed by Maxwell even when he is struggling against all other bowlers.
They two have their own History.
