There is also something to do with Kohli poor captaincy at times
I wonder what team they will unleash in initial matches!
Lack of key domestic all rounder is a major concern
Whenever RCB has spent huge,The respective player hasn't performed a bit.Take the example of Tymal Mills,He was brought for 9+ crores.RCB must never go for buys exceeding a limit. No reliable batsmen to support Kohli and ABD
The bowling was made strong, though was unfortunate for Coulter Nile injury.
The 3 Indian local batsmen acquired this year plus Shivam Dubey are the key
During last year's auction,RCB spent a lot for Krunal Pandya but MI used RTM (It was confirmed).
The habit of RCB that I don't like is their quick jump for anyone player instead of buying quality players for high price.
Take the case of MI itself,They haven't gone for huge buys but they make players having 50 Lakhs to a player having 8+ crore (Krunal Pandya). That's the reason behind MI's success.
Now let's take the following example :
Let us assume that the player auction is in January 20XX,This is the month of December and India is touring a country A.There we have seen that a player B is in electrifying form who is smashing the balls all over the park, then it is mostly sure that RCB (and some other teams) will surely try to buy at any cost.It is the wrong part.
Remember "Form is temporary but class is permanent". Therefore signing ayers with class is important than signing players in form.
