I believe management will convince Kohli to captain for 1-2 more years, post which it will be handed over to DDP or Ishan Kishan

Not reading like a 'Champion squad'.

We had never looked like a champion squad until last 2 years. Why? Because we didn’t have our fast bowling plans sorted. So along with our best bowlers from last year, This team has those options sorted. And Indian batting is very well sorted so we may not need many foreign Batting options. They would rather groom younger players so that they play for RCB only in the future, if the mega auction is scrapped..

KS is going to go expensive this auction so RCB may not be able to go for him. I believe this is where Hesson will play his cards and get Azharuddin for cheap.
If going for Ishan, they wouldn’t want Iyer/Pandey

I don't think just raw pace from Ferguson and Jenson will solve the problems.
We require an experienced pacer like Rabada / Boult / Cummins to lead the attack.
Though Indian batters read good on paper, we will really require one top foreign batsman who could bat at 1/2/3 and score quickly.
