After going through the Auction sets, I'm pretty sure Teams are gonna break the bank for Shreyas Iyer. He's the main talent in the main list. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes for 15-17 cr or even more. Especially as KKR, RCB, PKBS are looking for a captain to lead.

I don't know if any franchise is seeing him as for a captaincy role. He will break the bank for sure. Shreyas Iyer has the opportunity that he might be the first player in the auction like Gambir had in 2011 auctions and how KKR broke the money for him. Also, the players surrounding him are Cummins, FAF, Warner and the likes. So, he would be a stand-out for me for that reason. Let's see how auction pans out.

Definitely not now, but a future captaincy option for sure. I’m expecting RCB to for him if Iyer goes into KKR/PBKS hands..
