Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his birthday by cutting cake at IPL match at Wankhede



Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 44 th birthday at the IPL match at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday evening. IPL commentator Matthew Hayden also interviewed Tendulkar while the game between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant was on. Tendulkar cut a cake and had the whole crowd singing Happy Birthday for him.

In the interview to Hayden, Tendulkar joked about his birthday, saying, “You never cut a cricket bat…will cut the outfield to open up the gaps. Being 44 is nice but also covering those 44 years (has been nice). My movie is probably coming out on May 26th and I have been busy these days to ensure how best it is launched. I can’t believe I am 44.”

Harbhajan Singh becomes third Indian bowler to clinch 200 wickets in T20s

Mumbai Indians bowler Harbhajan Singh on Monday became the third Indian bowler and the 19th bowler overall to complete a double century of wickets in T20s. It took 225 matches for the Indian spinner to reach the new milestone.
