T20 World Cup: Stadiums in UAE to operate at approximately 70 pc capacity

Dubai [UAE], October 3 (ANI): All UAE venues will be operating at approximately 70 per cent of maximum seated capacity in the upcoming men's T20 World Cup, said the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday.

Purchase power is the reason for the expensive prices... If it was in India, the prices would have been close to IPL ticketing prices...

I don't think so... Back in 2016 when the T20 WC happened in India, I remember that at least for the matches in Chinnaswamy stadium, the A Upper Stand ticket price for the Bangladesh vs Australia match was ~Rs. 2100 and the 2016 IPL season matches in Chinnaswamy at the same stand costed Rs. 1100 (both excluding tax)...

In 2019 IPL, the A Upper Stand price increased to ~Rs. 1400 (~1900 with taxes)...

The A Upper stand at the Chinnaswamy is the least expensive budget category seat that can be booked online...
