• In A TV Debate in Pakistan, one of them argued that India should be replaced by Sri Lanka while the other argued that a player with both bat & ball can't be discarded because the World Cricket depends on them as well as the broadcaster is from there
• PCB is very keen to host the the CT25 because they haven't hosted any ICC tournament since 1996 CWC because of being targeted due to security season which has formed unsafe image about them
• Pakistan Government has advised PCB not to accept hybrid model
• PCB has threatened to withdraw from the tournament if Hybrid model is followed but if they do so, they will lose $65 Million as Hosting Fees as well as Investments made to improve the infrastructure would also not be useful
• PCB highlighted to ICC that over the past two years, New Zealand has toured Pakistan thrice, England twice, and Australia once.
• Since Pakistan was awarded the hosting Rights of CT25, there have been 12 ICC Board Meetings but BCCI never never raised any concerns regarding India's participation
• Former India Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, while he was still in office, had long stated that India would not travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. While this may not have been an official position of the BCCI at that time, anyone with a sane understanding of India-Pakistan dynamics would easily see through the situation.
