This info is showing wrong information in Jio STB.
Check using the JioHotstar debug
Long press on quality icon then you will see original property .

Also if you want to see original 50-60 Fps just watch some international channel like willow and astro who are actually provided 50-60 FPS

Could you include the picture of your STB showing the device model and version build. That would be helpful to narrow down the problem.

Although it says 4k@25fps on Hotstar native stats but you can clearly notice the difference in animation and smoothness when we switch to regional feed @50fps

Not just jio stb, all TV apps were capped to 720p yesterday

I've got the blue STB box from my neighbour and mine is white color box here is what is found.

Jio has 2 STB hardwares.
1. White box (version 2)
Device Model : JMSB200A
Version & Build : Jio 2.0 JioSTB-JMSB200A-19.1.10

2. Dark blue (older version)
Device Model : JMSB200A
Version & Build : Jio 2.0 JioSTB-JMSB200A-20.1.04

In both boxes, I was able to stream maximum at 1080@25fps through 5ghz wifi and Ethernet. Also, I think everyone got 720 max at latter half of innings.

Both the plan i tested was 30M postpaid Jio Airfiber plans and the firmware was showing the latest for both of them. This tells me 50fps is plan specific (JioFiber/ jioairber plan not Jiohotstar plan as I tested by upgrading to 4k Premium plan and didn't work hence I moved the jio registered phone number to another)

Based on the previous posts, whosoever getting 50fps, please confirm their plan and whether they are using white or dark blue STB box.

Yesterday final match is streaming in 1080p@25fps, even I have upgraded to 4k premium plan. bad Jio hotstar, Jio cinema have better quality.

I'm subscribed to the Premium plan on Jiohotstar and using the Dark Blue stb.
