Why no officials/representatives from the host nation during award ceremony? Even during award ceremony, Bishop was the commentator, it could/should be Ramiz IMO.

When Varun made it to CT squad as a replacement of Jaiswal after playing only 1 ODI, almost 90% of ICT followers termed him as GG’s KKR quota. He proved each of them wrong in the very first match he played. His former teammate (and captain) DK (who also speaks the same language), praised a lot during commentary mentioning his excellent performances in both the white ball domestic tournaments.

As per report , they weren't invited.
Only for the namesake. They were the host but every decision were taken by Jay Shah leading from the front
