Looking at all the tweets it seems like people have too much money in their bank account and they just can't wait for HBO Max to launch. So that they can pay for yet another streaming service. They are ready with their debit/credit cards in their hand and waiting. The moment it launches, they'll subscribe.

And how come everyone's just dying to watch Game of Thrones all of a sudden?
GOT is still one of the most popular show on Hotstar. Many people left it midseason. They are worried whether they get to finish it or not.

Talking about people wanting to subscribe. If they honestly price is like ₹299 or ₹599 year. I will happy stop paying for Hotstar and go for it as Marvel shows doesn't mean much too me.

How can you leave a show like GOT in the middle? It's just too good. I finished the whole thing in 3-4 days. I didn't even sleep properly those days. I was just too curious about what's going to happen next.

From many people's tweets it feels as if GOT is the only thing they watch on Hotstar. What is it? A sitcom?

Same here. Infact I haven't even subscribed to Hotstar since last year. My cousin sister gives me access to her account occasionally in exchange for my Netflix account. I will again ask for it next week and binge the entire Last of Us series.

It takes too much time to watch a show with 73 episodes. These are not even some sitcoms with 20 minute long episodes. It takes over an hour to finish one episode.

Haha, this use to exact opposite here. I use to share my Hotstar subscription for my sister's Netflix subscription. I am thinking about converting my sim to Jio's Postpaid when my plan expires for ₹470 100 GB data, Netflix and Amazon Prime sounds fair.

They have shelved plans for HBO Max in India. F1 Pro is not premium if compared to likes of Anupama Star that charges for ₹1499 to selll ads and mediocrity.
even I never watched serials anupama star and my Ads with Hotstar plan expire soon.

you mean Anupama star popularity reason for F1Tv Pro premium pricing, Hotstar and other OTT platforms too not renew WBD/HBOs deal ?

I don't speak Mandarin. Please translate what you are trying to say here.

Soon they will launch HBO Max in India with premium plan like F1TV pro or adding content their own Discovery + As Premium through available on Amazon Prime:lol:
There will be no HBO Max even in the US coming next month. They're planning to change the name and add Discovery programming to the combined app. I don't think there are plans to launch it anywhere else for now.
