Google has taken the browsing security to next level. They announced launch of two new features to help protect users from deceptive websites.

The Suspicious Site Reporter Extension will improve security for Chrome users by allowing you to report suspicious sites to Google Safe Browsing.

Google has also added the ability to track down deceptive sites on Chrome 75. It will display a warning to the user, if he is visiting a wrong/forged URL. This feature is useful when scammers try to trick users by simply replacing single or multiple characters of a URL. For example, it’s easy to confuse “go0gle.com” with “google.com”.

Chrome Canary for PC is testing a new feature called 'Global Media Controls' which adds tiny play button next to the URL field. It allows you to skip forward or back, pause, or play any music or video.

Chrome Users To Soon Play And Pause Videos In Browser

Google is working on to add a play and pause button on its Chrome browser's toolbar that will help users pause or resume a video playing in the browser, regardless of the where it's coming from.

According to ZDNet, the new Google Chrome feature is called Global Media Controls (GMC) and is now in testing phase.

Dark mode doesn't work on Redmi 3S Prime for me. Does dark mode works for you?

It's working. Open chrome --> type chrome://flags --> Search for Android Chrome UI dark mode --> Enable it. Relaunch chrome. After that close chrome and enable night mode from system settings (or from chrome settings --> themes) . You'll see Chrome night mode.
