So we have now 4 players playing in Foreign league. Sanjeev Stalin, Ishan Pandita, Amarjeet Mishra, Shanon Viegas. 3 in Portugal( Sanjeev, Amarjeet, Shanon). Ishan is in Spain. They should stay there. Gain experience from those league. Even 3rd division league in portugal has more match(30) than 1st division in India. Coaching in those countries is also top class. Come to India to play for national match only. What do you guys think? Playing in foreign league is key to our WC dream.

this is good move but these players need to gel between others it's not like that they came and starught away change their olaying style according to indian recruted coaches these indian origin forgein player's needs more time to practice with oir indian football team players.

instead of this we should give chance to canadian qatar player's imdian citizenship train them and give them a shot in wc qualifier and see what happen just like france do bring african origin players train them and ultimately results was fruitfull for france but ultimately govt need to do something to bring other country player's to india instead let our country's player's to go outside india and play

Somnath Bhai. Bringing foreign country citizens, training them, qualifying for WC by them will be too much shame for us. We have 1.3 billion population with world's largest young population. What's the use of that demographic then? As for playing in foreign league concerned, our players need to go to foreign league to get experience abroad. Gurpreet Singh said it himself. Foreign league will change the whole player. See his performance before 2012 and after 2015. I will give an example. Cr 7 playing in ISL will not help us qualify for WC more than our players playing in la liga. If our players will play in La Liga or epl they will understand the footballing culture there. While if they will play in India only, we will be home bully having no abroad experience. Even if ISL will become the top league in world, foreign league is must.

We need more such football centric stadium in India. Most of our stadium are multi purpose otherwise. It is creating problem for training like that stadium on Bangalore.

What do you guys think of a UEFA nations league like competition in Asia? Like AFC Nations league? Currently our beloved AIFF could not even arrange meaning less friendly with other nation. With a proper competition in place, we can have a atleast a number of match each year for our national teams. With a short league such as ISL, it will be a great chance for our Indian player to expose to Top teams of Asia. Kindly comment your views. @somnath chakraborty @rahul_apk @DJ Roy

Those horrible teams will stay horrible without proper exposure. We certainly need more matches . Otherwise dream of Asian nights will never come true. My point is AIFF need to arrange meaning less friendly anyway. Why not arrange a proper competition which will give us some reward?
