after seeing qatar in afc qualifying round when africa host world cup football they get straight chance in wc as host nation but now Qatar hosting wc 2022 but still they need to play qualifier for playing in wc 2022
can anoyone know this reason
if rule change then it's very very hard to we see india ever playing wc football at lest as a host nation india have better chance of playing in wc football than by qualifying

Bro rules haven't changed. Qatar have qualified for the WC. They still play the qualifiers as formality. But this is actually an advantage for India that we are in the same group. Even if we finish 2nd we automatically get through to the final qualifying round which other groups miss out from. But India is such a useless team they couldn't even hold on to a lead against Oman. Had we beaten them we could have probably finished 2nd. But now Oman has an edge over other teams.one thing is still mysterious for me

It has changed. I don't think Russia had to qualify in 2018.
