I had recharged my Airtel Prepaid with the 1999 plan, and then later with the 361 data pack (50 GB). The 1999 plan is about to expire next week. If I recharge again with 1999 before the current pack expires, will the 361 data pack continue to be active? 🤔
Yes, I have tested

361 data will expire. Airtel ensures every data pack is valid only till the current pack. They maintain different data pool.

Yep, I was asking about the 361 data pack's continuity. Thank you everyone! đź‘Ť
If you are planning to recharge with the same plan, you can recharge before the expiry of the current plan. The validity and benefits get added anyway. You'll lose nothing, and you can also see if the data pack gets added or not.

I can say from my experience. Do Rs361 recharge, ONLY AFTER the Rs1999 recharge, then you will not lose your old data top-up. Let me explain:-

First you are doing Rs1999 recharge over the current Rs1999 plan. Your plan validity will increase by 365 days or existing validity + 365 days. But now the rs361 data pack validity will continue to be the old / existing validity. Now after the new Rs1999 recharge, you should do the new Rs361 recharge. Now the validity of data pack Rs361 will again align with your new validity and extra 50GB data will get added with your old remaining data.

I am doing the same for last few years, without any issue.

Hi friends. I am using airtel prepaid and I would like to port out. Is there a way I can get the UPC without having an unlimited plan active on my number? My outgoing has expired, and I dont want to recharge again (the minimum recharge now is Rs 199 with just 2GB of data).

What is the best way to port out of airtel without recharging?
