Do you have old Idea/Vodafone sim or new Vi sim? With new Vi sim it works.

New Vi sim which I just ported from bsnl a few weeks ago

Speeds were capped or you felt overall experience is bad?
Speeds for sims from other states are capped for 70-80% of the users I guess. Like my sim from Mumbai circle sometimes gets capped at 40Mbps in one city of Maharashtra circle and in another at 100Mbps. At same locations, Sim from Maharashtra circle has no cap. That has to go away. But 40Mbps throughout the day under cap is still fine. Maybe cap will be removed after 5G deployment(or 3G shutdown). My dad visits Bangalore/Hyderbad quiet often for official work. He never faced any issue(His sim is Idea core sim).

Speeds were less than Jio or Airtel. Vi I got anywhere between 3-6 Mbps in the areas I mentioned. Chinnaswamy I get 40 Mbps easily where Jio and Airtel aren't even there.

Speeds for sims from other states are capped for 70-80% of the users I guess.

But 70-80% cap shouldn't mean as bad as 3-6 Mbps.

That is also a bad experience for me. Why should I change a SIM that is only 4-5 weeks old??

Jaipur bad really? What about Bangalore? Outside bangalore its trash, but bangalore its good.

Bangalore also network coverage is pretty poor.
