As i also said earlier it depends on many factors, we can't just say it's wrong or right, eg. If someone has decent amount of money why not give some of it, happily giving things/money is good, but main problerm in our society is that they kinda make girl uncomfortable or sometimes dosen't treat her good if she doesn't bring dowry that's wrong not dowry, mindset is the issue not dowry.

Yeah, mindset is the issue about it, that's why we should not put fuel into the fire by continuing this mess.

It will be like, Oh, XYZ's family gave that much dowry, we have to give at least this much to maintain our image.

And the cycle continues.

And yeah, there are women who are treated badly for not coming with dowry. What their husband is doing though? All of this is so messed up.

Instead of promoting dowry, we should discourage it.

Getting a PS5 and KFC Bucket is more like a gift than a dowry. Wedding gifts are acceptable but at an extent, where it's about love and affection & not about greed.
