You can idolize some of their journeys and hardwork. IDK whether you know or not, some of these cricketers have risen up from very poor family backgrounds and all. I'm someone who do truly respect that kind of journey.
Neither of the personalities you mentioned are poor.

Even the same thought kept me up from joining the forum back in 2017s, I read somehwere that you must have to be atleast 13 to join the forum, and I wasn't at that time....Still gathered the courage to join the forum at an age below the mentioned in 2018 😅😅

It becomes even more norm due to people who still give dowry. So, it is wrong.

I know quite a few who gave dowry because "Izzat chala jayega samaj se nahi dene par" (We'll lose respect from the society if we don't give dowry).
As i also said earlier it depends on many factors, we can't just say it's wrong or right, eg. If someone has decent amount of money why not give some of it, happily giving things/money is good, but main problerm in our society is that they kinda make girl uncomfortable or sometimes dosen't treat her good if she doesn't bring dowry that's wrong not dowry, mindset is the issue not dowry.
