I already did that bro. All i am asking is what's the reason for calling it Tirunelveli Halwa? It's also called Godhumai Halwa. Here again Godhumai refers to wheat flour. I asked because in Udupi/Karnataka they make Ash Gourd/Pumpkin Halwa and call it Kashi Halwa when i have never even heard of anyone from Kashi making it. So i felt this was also something like that?
Tirunelveli City in Tamilnadu famous for halva . In all places we get. But this one is very special. If we eat freshly, it melts in our tongue. Only two shops are famous. Yiruttu kadai (dark shop) , shanthi sweets. And it's my native one , Bro. And for the taste mainly Thamirabarani rivet water.

That's why i asked bro! We should also know the significance behind the name. Because even though it's found all over there can be a small fun fact hidden behind the name. Sometimes even Google cannot answer like a local can do. 😉

It's Tirunelveli halva, and Arisi murukku (made from rice flour)
Tamil Bros know well 😀
