Its comes in Andhra, Visakapatnam, Vijayawada, Rajamandri, Amlapooram etc etc from Andhra. Andhra Side Nature is very beautiful and foods are very testy. Not like other part of Andhra Pradesh Rayalaseema- Rayalaseema famous for spice foods like Telangana.

It's cool bogori in both Assamese and Bengali. Can't beleive that even after growing up we still don't eat it before Saraswati Puja.

Do you guys in Rest of India follow same tradition?
bair/ber in hindi , elanthai palam in tamil , boreh hannu in kannada its also also called Indian plum. regarding tradition im not sure but its defintely also used in festivities here in southern indian states as well
