So they were charging 5 times higher price when people were desperately searching for vaccines to make as much money as possible

They were still selling the vaccine to Center at Rs 150 and to states at Rs 400.And from what i have seen large majority of the people who got vaccinated were vaccinated through these channels.Moreover,there is always skepticism towards these things conveniently ignoring the fact that there is R&D cost involved,infrastructure costs are there.And bottomline is companies will always look for making profits but that doesn't make bad.

The Delhi government announced on Friday that precaution doses of the Covid-19 vaccine will be provided for free at government hospitals in the national capital.
