What is there to celebrate in a vaccination ?? Is this achievement ?? This is a duty to vaccinate by a government to their citizens .. moreover everyday thousands are dying due to covid19 but they inviting mascot creation like Olympic or Commonwealth games

Your duty is to get success in your life. But i guess when you achieve that milestone, you have never celebrated it. Like getting A++ in School, or getting into YOUR preferred college or even a pay rise in job! You have not probably celebrated it as it was your duty. Those who still did not understand it, the GOI is celebrating because it has achieved a huge milestone. Even if it was their duty, It is not easy to vaccinate 100 crore people. FLW, Essential workers deserved to be celebrated. Note- Your/You does not necessarily means "Gobinath bhai". Just a general example. Success here is a broader term.

Nothing wrong with celebrating when 100% is vaccinated. Or atleast 90%. Early celebrations needs to stop. Patting ourselves in the back lead to second wave. Most people out of 100 crores are just vaccinated with first dose at the moment. There is another 40 crores not even vaccinated. Public celebration on COVID related topics needs to stop altogether. It sends wrong example to unvaccinated people. Meanwhile our COVID related essential workers are hereos. Hopefully, they get handsomely rewarded by our government for all the overworking and stress they are going through. Once everything is over.
