But have you found any official news regarding this,I didn't found any declaration from BSNL regarding this.

I found a flaw in BSNL's system 6 to 7 months back,my FUP limit is till 8 GB but in the start of every month I start downloading things and never switch off my router, and I am easily able to download around 20 to 25 GB every month at 2Mbps speed despite 8 GB limit [emoji14]

If anyhow my router gets switched off due to Electricity cut while I have completed 8 GB,I get the message that my limit is finished and I have to browse at low speeds, but if it doesn't get switched of I am able to download around 20 to 25 Gb easily every month with 2mbps constant speed :)

Contacting BSNL CC from 2 days but they don't have information regarding this and I haven't even seen any news on TV or from any leading magazine or newspaper promoting it

Last Year when they increased the initial speed to 2mbps there were many articles on leading daily like NDTV,Indian Express,TOI,Economic Times etc and press conferences by Ravi Shankar Prasad but this time nothing by anyone,I hope this doesn't turn into a troll  :s :s

Did the Speed increase ?

I dont think so
Speed always increases to 2Mbps at start of month
In this thread we are talking about speed that he gets after using a specified amount of Data set by ISP,that is known as FUP
It can be known only after 2 or 3 days :)

hillarious.... getting news from personal contacts.... bsnl seriously needs to improve its pr.... but then again, there are many many fat salary checks going to people who are not needed/dont work. bsnl should seriously look at vrs options to reduce salary burden. they can then increase post fup speeds to 2 mbps or even more :-)
