It happens all the time. Some time Twitter block left wing account. Then LW will trend. For Right Wing account, RW will trend. That Ladakh row also was reason for trending some day ago. Sometime someone will add the Hashtag in their tweet just because that is trending. There is no particular reason for most trends. Most trends in India are spam. It is fan culture or troll culture driven. Not original. See even currently #TwitterBaninIndia is trending with memes. No reason.

It is not serious. Series of event- Center asked twitter for clarification on why they should not be penalized for that Ladakh row on November 9. Republic tv exaggerated it and reported that Twitter may get banned in India because of it. That story became an meme. Many twitter users created meme on basis of that republic news. They trend it with Twitter ban in India.
