These bugs/lags can come due to some android app which is slow and consuming more resources or if many apps are installed.

It's a new phone, there were hardly any apps installed. I think the lag was because of the update they gave out of the box, a reset was needed post that update.

This cannot be attributed to device slowness.

I was referring to the bugs/lags which were causing slowness and which resolved on device reset.
Now it is clear that the problem was due to the update they have given out of the box and reset has resolved the issue.
