I request that you never relocate the Jio Air Fiber connection. The relocation process is a total scam.

1. They will not relocate the same devices or connection.
2. They will close the old connection and ask you to purchase a new connection, and the validity of the old connection is given in a voucher after 90 days.
3. If you go for relocation, the app will ask you to pay ₹1000. After that, there will be KYC and the remaining amount for the plan. Once you pay, they will by default take a request for Jio Air Fiber Max; however, most locations do not have Air Fiber Max devices, and Jio engineers are also not trained for installation—except in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi.
4. The ₹1000 is a non-refundable amount, which will only be used for a new connection, not for anything else.

I have requested a relocation, which has been my biggest mistake. I am living in Valsad, Gujarat, and since this is not a metro city, they don’t have the devices. Engineers are asking for payment again, but for ₹1000, I either have to forget about it or wait 15 days to submit a new request.

I have been using Jio Air Fiber for the last year and had never faced any issues, but for the last 15 days, I have been completely frustrated.

**Pro tip for all users**: If there is a 5G tower and good range inside your home, and you want to relocate, simply remove the device from the top and install it yourself. Don’t call support or anyone.

Yes, the new relocation process has been a disappointment not only for Jio AirFiber customers, but also for the existing and old Jio Fiber customers.

When they revamped the relocation process, I had highlighted these issues on a separate thread after going through their T&C.

Read: Jio Fiber & AirFiber relocation process has been changed

We even published an article highlighting these drawbacks in the new process.

For Fiber process is smooth, my friend has moved to different city, they moved same connection just asked for 1000 payment

You mean Jio Fiber relocation process different from AirFiber? They have mentioned the same process for both on their website.

Overall it's been a mess for the customers to be honest.

Yes both process is different, in Jio Fiber they will deinstall the connection and give you the device and in new location they will visit and install the connection if Jio Fiber is available.
If there is no Jio Fiber so they will give you airfiber and for airfiber same above I mentioned, new connection old amount will receive after 90 days as voucher, means we have to purchase new connection
